Worldwide Alumni Celebration 2016

By Sir Andrew Likierman

Our annual Worldwide Alumni Celebration kicked off last week with a glittering event at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Followed by more than 100 events in cities all over the world - faculty colleagues and I will be joining the celebrations in New York (this week), Dubai, Mumbai (next week), Hong Kong and Sydney (the following week) - WAC celebrates our alumni community and the successful close of our first fundraising Campaign.

The Campaign has been about enabling London Business School to fulfil its vision - through the experience people have when they come here, the people they meet, and the ideas they are exposed to. I see the impact of our alumni every day – whether it’s David Davis and Justine Greening as UK Cabinet Ministers, Anna Farina who left a career in Finance to play a leading role in the NGO Syria Relief or Jim Ratcliffe who brought the first shale gas from the US to the UK last month. Their achievements add lustre to our whole community and I look forward to celebrating with many alumni over the next few weeks.
