Celebrating Diversity

Different descriptions or definitions of diversity include variety, miscellany, assortment, mixture, array, medley and contrast. These are words which encapsulate our diverse community here at London Business School.

The School’s annual Diversity Report published earlier this year indicates that we are steadily moving in the right direction. Our staff represent 51 nationalities and our 100+ world-class faculty come from 29 nations. We’ve also exceeded the sector average with almost half of our students from groups classified as minority in the UK.

Diversity is woven into the fabric of our People Plan – the roadmap for our HR and Learning and Development activities. The People Plan is designed to help the School in its aspirations to grow and ensure our community and workplace is the best it can be. Accepting and celebrating diversity is a key factor to our success.

Our talented students organise many exciting events at LBS, including the upcoming LBS Women in Business conference on 10 March as well as celebrating our rich cultural diversity with Tattoo this weekend. Everyone is unique and has value, and at LBS this will always be celebrated.
