What is mindfulness?
Before joining LBS this year, Veena Baggley was a freelance mindfulness facilitator and teacher. She worked with groups, individuals and organisations such as Greenpeace and Thames Water, to host mindfulness-based, stress reduction courses and tailor-made workshops to enable them to meet the challenges of work and life in today’s frantic world.
She will be hosting a 45 minute, interactive and experiential session on mindfulness on Wednesday 1 November, 12:00 – 12:45, Fairbairn Room.
There is an ever-growing body of research, which states that practicing mindfulness can help reduce stress-levels, encourage productivity through more focussed attention and increase our levels of well-being.
