What did you think of January's School Meeting?

It was great to see a full house at Sammy Ofer Centre for our January School Meeting. If you missed it, you can watch a video playback of the whole meeting here and slides are also available to download here

We’re always looking at ways to enhance the School Meeting and this would not be possible without your feedback. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey to help shape future meetings.

For those that weren’t able to attend, here is a summary of what you missed.

François started with a short update, providing some information on Brexit, our response to the coronavirus and the pay review.

The theme of our meeting, 'how are we maximising the workplace and learning experience,' was kicked off by Mike Weymouth and Mandy Mather from Estates and Campus Services, who brought to life campus development plans for 2020 including Taunton Centre and the North Building renovation.

Sue Murray from IT discussed recent and upcoming projects, how they are enhancing the workplace and learning experience and enabling better collaboration. Tansy Rothwell and Kate Nicholroy from Learning Innovation then talked about the classroom, online and alumni learning experience.

François concluded the meeting by highlighting that the projects that Campus Services and Estates, IT and Learning Innovation spoke about today provide a sense of where we are and the School’s direction of travel. Our physical, digital and learning environments are all being enhanced to have an impact on our community and to provide outstanding experiences on campus in London and in Dubai.
