Summer upgrades: access card readers and printers
The next two weeks will see two important upgrade programmes beginning around campus – printers and access card readers.
91 Xerox printers around campus will be replaced during July with new models that are more environmentally friendly, cheaper to run and have a range of useful new features including printing from tablets.
Work on new access card readers for doors around the School will also start in July and run throughout the rest of the summer. Once the new card readers are in place, you will need a new-style access card to open that door. If you have not yet upgraded your card, please go to the security desk at Plowden to pick up a new card and avoid being locked out!
The project teams involved are working hard to minimise disruption- please bear with them as these essential works take place.
More information about the upgrades, including timetables and any necessary action will be circulated over the coming weeks.
