On 13-15 May, we will welcome almost 1,000 alumni back to campus to celebrate the milestone Reunions – from 5 years up to 45 years – since they graduated from the School. Reunion 2016 is a three-day programme including speaker sessions from 20 faculty and guest speakers, a huge alumni event at ZSL London Zoo, individual class celebrations and a garden party on the Front Lawn with food, drink and entertainment for all the family.
2016 sees the launch of new branding and imagery for Reunion which will be used over the next five years. This branding encourages alumni to look at what they have achieved since being at the School and the impact LBS has had on their lives. The images feature a family tree with birds, and straplines reading “The family’s getting back together” and “You’ve gone far. It’s time you came back”.
Encouraging alumni to fundraise for their Reunion class gift is a key aspect of our Reunion programme. Arthur the penguin is the LBS Reunion mascot this year. Arthur is named after LBS’s first Dean, Dr Arthur Earle. Alumni can pick up a penguin when they make their Reunion gift – a small thank you for supporting the school. Arthur’s home over Reunion weekend will be the Penguin Pod in the Quad where attendees can also stick a pin in our LBS Reunion world map and find out how far alumni have travelled for the weekend!
Please check out the Reunion website for further information.
