Photography show: London: Commerce l Location l People

From now until July 2016, the S1 Lounge is home to London: Commerce l Location l People. This fascinating exhibition is a visual history of photography in London with pictures of the capital ranging from 1870 to the present day.

Based around the three themes of commerce, location and people, the pictures in the exhibition are on loan from The Eric and Louise Franck Collection. The oldest picture being shown is an early shot of the Houses of Parliament by Vernon Heath, dating from the 1870s.

Photography fans might also enjoy Performing for the Camera (at the Tate Modern until 12 June) and Vogue 100 A Century of Style (at the National Portrait Gallery until 22 May).
