Thank you to those who replied with their availability for financial planning seminars and advice sessions. The Pensions and Benefits team will be in contact soon regarding confirmation of the dates that advisers will be attending the School.

USS 2019 Annual Member Statements
The majority of eligible colleagues will by now have received their annual member statement from USS.

Those who haven’t received this should contact Michael Safo-Crampton, who can investigate why yours has not arrived. It is likely that you will receive yours in a second wave during November.

Pension tax 2018/19
Staff and faculty that are subject to pension tax (either annual allowance or lifetime allowance charges) should receive a letter setting out your tax year 2018/19 tapered annual allowance, and previous three tax year’s carry forward by the beginning of November. The team will be arranging for a tax specialist to visit the School during November to go through key pension tax issues so please look out for an announcement.
