LBS Community Toy Drive 2019

Small gestures that make a big difference.

This year's LBS Toy Drive will run from Monday, 11 November until Monday, 2  December.  We are aiming to collect 400 toys. Could you please help us, by donating just one?

Often, the one thing that prevents us from giving back to the community is a lack of time. Supporting the School's Community Toy Drive, however, is simple, quick and, as part of a School-wide effort, very impactful.

Every year, since 2009, colleagues and students have joined forces in the run-up to Christmas, to deliver hundreds of toys to local children, who are disadvantaged or in hospital.

It makes a real difference to those who receive the toys:

“It may perhaps have seemed a small gesture to an outsider, but for my children to both get a present was a real treat for them.  It made a difference to our Christmas and no doubt many other families”.

Here are three ways to take part:

(1)   Please check out this link https://lbs.eventscase.com/EN/Toydrive, which will give you gift ideas, a link to order a gift from Amazon or the option to make a cash donation.  Toys ordered from Amazon will be delivered directly to ‘The Toy Drive Committee’ at LBS.

(2)   Drop off your unwrapped toy at one of the designated points on campus: Ratcliffe Reception, Nash Lounge, The Gift Shop, Sammy Ofer Centre (Students’ Lounge).

(3)   Organise a collection in your department/team.   Donations which will be collected up by the Post Room on Monday, 2 December.
