Improving Healthcare Delivery: The Adventures of a Business School Professor Working with Hospitals

We are excited to invite you to the next Faculty Research Lecture on Wednesday 18 March, 12:30 – 13:30 in LT9 with Nicos Savva, Professor of Management Science and Operations on 'Improving Healthcare Delivery: The Adventures of a Business School Professor Working with Hospitals'. Reserve your place today.

During this talk, Professor Savva will describe some of the work he has been doing with hospitals. He will talk about using data science to make better capacity and staffing decisions, predicting patient waiting time at A&E, assessing GP performance using hospital data, and designing better hospital reimbursement. He will also talk about how hospitals cope with increasing workload, including how the process of delivering babies changes on busy days.
