Faculty Research Lecture with Dr Jérémie Gallien
Improving health delivery in sub-Saharan Africa
This lecture addresses the design and management of health systems. Take Malaria, one of Africa’s biggest killers. It’s proven that the ability to control the disease is directly affected by delays and inefficiencies around diagnosis and distribution.
With examples from Ghana, Mozambique and Zambia, Jeremie will draw on his research projects from LBS and elsewhere to examine how academic work is serving to improve health delivery systems in sub-Saharan Africa, and helping to save lives.
Dr Jérémie Gallien, Associate Professor of Management Science and Operations, research focuses on pushing the frontier of supply chain management. Read his full profile on london.edu
