Entrepreneurship in Dubai – Saturday 17 March 2018: New Ventures ME is an LBS student entrepreneurship club based in Dubai. They have joined forces with the Career Centre to launch the Entrepreneur’s Journey programme in Dubai. This series of five events takes attendees through the various stages of launching a start-up in the Middle East.

Dubai updates

World Government Summit: LBS representatives attended the annual Dubai World Government Summit from 11 to 14 February. The event brought together leaders from government, business and education to discuss solutions to international problems, focusing on technology and innovation. Carlos Hornstein and Nouf Al Khalifa attended, along with a delegation of LBS students who presented a white paper.

LBS MBA students who participated in the Summit's Global Universities Challenge were awarded a prestigious prize. Read more in the latest News

New Communications and PR Agency for Dubai and Middle East: Weber Shandwick MENA have been appointed as our new PR agency for the Middle East to help improve our external impact in the region. Lamia Senousi and Nouf Al Khalifa will work with the agency to help them get established in February.

Dubai recruitment and admissions  New EMBAJ2019

Thank you to MaryAnn Boulis and Segen Berhe for their sterling work in recruiting our new EMBAJ2019 class. The 56 students represent 22 nationalities and have an average work experience of 13 years. The class includes doctors, a fighter pilot and a fashion planner. A quarter of the group are women and more than half (53%) of the class will be commuting into Dubai. We look forward to seeing them in 2019.
