Could you be the next School Meeting host?
The Internal Communications team is seeking a new School Meeting host to take over responsibilities from Nicola Faulkner from September. Nicola has been a fantastic host throughout the last year and it is now time to elect a new host for next academic year.
The role involves welcoming guests and speakers at all School Meetings for the 2019/20 academic year, and presenting the agenda. No public speaking expertise is required, but the School Meeting host must be confident with addressing an audience of more than 300 people along with an uplifting tone and enthusiastic demeanour.
All other preparations are made in advance of each School Meeting by the Internal Communications team. This includes an agenda for each meeting along with talking points and a brief for the host.

To apply for the position, please email Hamish Armstrong (email@example.com) with your name and department, and a paragraph of no more than 150 words on why you would like to be the next School Meeting host and what you would bring to the role. The closing date for entries is Friday 21 June at midday.
Entries will then be sent to all staff to vote for their preferred candidate.
