Campus services and developments

As you'll have no doubt seen, our various sites have been undergoing refurbishment and renovation - some more extensive than others. After a busy summer of works, we are pleased to give you an update on how things have progressed and when we will finally say goodbye to the builders! We'd like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while these works have been carried out. 

The loading bay project is finishing next week and footpath access has already been reinstated on B Wing side. From Monday, the main car park will also re-open and deliveries will be redirected back to the loading bay which will be fully operational. Final soft landscaping will take place over the coming weeks. 

The wall rebuild alongside A Wing is now complete and access around the outside of the building has been reinstated. 

LT10 has been completely refurbished with new desks, chairs and AV, and welcomed its first Executive Education clients on Monday. The R1 Lounge has had new credenzas installed to provide participants with refreshments and all the seminar rooms have been painted. LT9 is set to be completed by 10 September. 

The hot water supply has been modernised all along Plowden, C, D and E-Wing to enable hot water at all times rather than relying on old fashioned water tanks. 

Finally, the major refurbishment of the Fitness Centre is well underway and the facility is set to open at the end of October. For more information on this project please view the FAQs and keep an eye on @LBS_Life Twitter and Facebook for progress photos in the coming weeks. 

The School will soon be welcoming consultants to undertake a visual inspection of every single room, office and teaching space on campus. They will not enter a room if it is in use for teaching or meetings, however please be accommodating and allow them access where possible over the next six weeks. Space Management are also beginning their campus rooms audit and will spend time assessing room usage.
