LBS Africa Business Summit
LBS Africa Club presents the 18th annual Africa Business Summit, taking place on Saturday 27 April between 08:00 and 19:30 at the Landmark Hotel, Marylebone.
Africa Business Summit attracts more than 400 delegates each year. The full-day conference provides a platform for stimulating debate on effective strategies for sustaining the continent’s positive momentum.
Keynote addresses will feature diverse and distinguished business leaders offering practical insights. This includes opportunities, challenges of doing business, individual market characteristics and best practices.
Acha Leke, Chairman of McKinsey in Africa and author of the book Africa's Business Revolution: How to Succeed in the World's Next Big Growth Market is just one of these prestigious Keynote speakers.
The Summit will also feature a number of panel discussions to dive deeper into topic areas such as private equity, manufacturing and retail, as well as practical how-to sessions designed to offer attendees concrete takeaways on topics like market entry and channel strategies.
The ACCEL Awards will also be contested at the Summit. The annual awards involve a start-up contest organised by LBS Africa Club in collaboration with the Club Alumni and Corporate Partners. At the conference, three African start-ups will have the opportunity to showcase their companies to the audience, including investors, business leaders and top African talent.
The Africa Business Summit is the ultimate networking and learning opportunity for professionals and students with a passion for doing business in Africa. To learn more please see our video from last year’s Summit.
