Tony Sheehan, Associate Dean, Digital Learning
Tony is responsible for the development, delivery and continuous improvement of a School-wide digital learning strategy. He has a particular interest in the design of effective learning in an age of information overload, and actively researches, teaches, facilitates and coaches in areas of knowledge management, technology strategy, e-Learning, ed-tech, social media, and innovation.
Tony's previous roles include Director of Learning Services at Ashridge Business School and Group Knowledge Manager and an Associate Director of Arup.
Tansy Rothwell, Programme Lead, Digital Development
Tansy has 16 years experience in the digital learning sector and seven years in educational publishing. She headed up the Cambridge University Press Digital Operation team and then Pearson Education global Higher Education local language programme. The programme was built from the ground up and Tansy’s role included identifying and enabling business readiness, platform provisioning and development and embedding digital content development processes within the local markets.
Outside of work Tansy is kept busy by a colony of bees who kindly give her honey every year.
Sushil Pallen, Digital Learning Content Manager
Sushil’s career to date has focused on with working with learning technology and digital learning. Prior to joining the School this year, he spent a number of years in corporate organisations, most recently with KPMG.
As one of the newest members of the Digital Learning team at London Business School he is enjoying learning more about the School and what it offers.
Sushil lives in Kingston and likes to spend time in Richmond Park walking and running, getting fresh air and avoiding cyclists as best he can.
Sergio Santos, Digital Learning Blended Learning Designer
Sergio was working for Computer Sciences Corporation when he completed a Masters of Information Science degree and fell in love with its blended learning experience. After this, he decided to work with learning technology within Higher Education so that he could help others to also appreciate and benefit from innovative and effective ways of learning and teaching.
Sergio worked in various HE institutions but prior to joining LBS, he was Graduate School learning technologist at Imperial College London supporting its postgraduate students. Before that, he worked as an LMS Manager at Cambridge University’s Judge Business School. Sergio is personally interested in business studies and is eager to once again support this area of education.
Eva Wilhelm, Senior Digital Learning Technologist
Eva joined the Digital team from the DPO EdTech team where she spent almost three years supporting faculty and staff during the roll-out and adoption of learning and teaching technologies, most recently the Canvas learning management system, and producing the first two LBS MOOCs.
Originally from Germany, Eva earned her MSc in Technical Communication and Information Design at Illinois Institute of Technology.
Having worked in several HE institutions in Germany and the US as well as for learning providers like Encyclopædia Britannica, Eva brings experience from multiple aspects of digital learning to the team,ranging from user experience and interface design to systems administration and product development.
Eva started a lunchtime knitting group at LBS which has been running for one and a half years now. She’s also a self-confessed foodie and loves to try new restaurants and recipes.
Brigitte Gomes, PA to Tony Sheehan and Tansy Rothwell
Brigitte is PA to Tony and Administrator for the rest of the Digital team.
In her 14 years at the School, Brigitte has worked within several departments and, prior to her appointment with Digital Learning, supported the successful delivery of the B2C project.
She loves the fact that this has given her a chance to wear may different hats and thrive, most recently, on the digital side of things.
Brigitte originally hails from Johannesburg, South Africa but now happily resides in London with her husband and two children.
