Your Focus Session during April Learning and Development

Your Focus Session during April

We’re all adjusting to our new way of working and individual circumstances. To reflect this, and the fact that our roles may be varying during this time of crisis, we extended the Focus Session period until the end of April. In this time of change and uncertainty it’s even more important to have a catch-up with your manager and share any concerns, problems or to ask for any help you may need.

You might need to adapt your Focus Session this time. Take the opportunity to acknowledge your efforts and achievements since your last Focus Session, and especially over the last month. You may want to consider your development opportunities, particularly if you have downtime during this period. On the other hand, if you’re role is very busy or if you’ve had to adapt your role, think about what support you need to manage.

It is also an opportunity to discuss:
  • new work priorities
  • how you are coping working remotely
  • balancing personal and professional demands
  • learning opportunities

To support you to learn whilst working from home, the Learning and Development team have introduced a range of interactive, virtual training sessions, delivered via Zoom. Not only will you learn and develop, but you’ll be able to see and talk to your colleagues during training, ask questions and share views - all incredibly important during this time of isolation. Sign up to the sessions here on Connect:
