Pay a colleague a compliment - new Complimentary Kindness Yammer group is live
Listeners to our recent virtual townhalls will have heard Francois mention the Complimentary Kindness initiative founded by our very own Sharon Wilson.
Complimentary Kindness is a forum that aims to connect people and to express their thanks and appreciation in the form of a compliment. With all of us now home based and more in need of friendly contact than ever, Complimentary Kindness has gone virtual with a new Yammer group for staff and faculty.
"Research suggests that acts of giving and kindness, small and large, are associated with positive mental wellbeing. Giving to others and co-operating with them can stimulate the reward areas in the brain, creating positive feelings according to the NHS well-being guide.
Our new Yammer group is now open for staff and faculty to give and receive either message or video compliments. Send someone a compliment and make their day!"
