New academic year by the numbers

A new academic year at LBS has officially started! When walking on Main Campus or visiting Sammy Offer Centre, you can feel the enthusiasm in the halls that new starters bring to our community.

Here’s a glimpse at numbers of students, faculty (and staff!) that have most recently been welcomed to LBS.

Students:

  • The MBA 2020 class welcomed 485 new students - the biggest class to date! 64 nationalities are represented and 40% are female students, a record breaking intake.

  • The MiF Full-time (MiFFT) 2019 class welcomed 126 students. 35% are women, up from 27% last year, which is another record breaking female intake. The MiFFT 2019 class is diverse with 98% being international students.

  • The MiF Part-time 2020 class welcomed 75 students. This cohort has an average work experience of 7 years, and includes a number of commuting students from outside London.

  • The Executive MBA (EMBA) programme welcomed 74 students in London and 47 students in Dubai. The 2020 EMBA class joins us with 12-13 years of work experience and from a variety of industries.

  • The MFA class has 116 new students representing 33 nationalities and with an average age of 23.

  • The MiM and Global MiM (GMiM) welcomed 253 new students this year with 45% being female.
