Meet our 2020 Sloan and EMBA students
Our new intakes are a diverse, global group of professionals.
Focusing on strategy, leadership and change, and globalisation, our Sloan programme is specifically designed for senior professionals and executives. Sloan 2020 will welcome 55 leadership students, representing 20 countries, 39 cities and over 20 industries. They have an average work experience of 18 years and more than 50% hold a postgraduate degree. This year there are seven new nationalities, when compared with 2019 - Germany, Greece, Jordan, Nigeria, Portugal, Singapore and Ukraine.
Most of our Sloan 2020 students have an interest in sustainability and social impact. Whilst this unites the group there are some distinct career profiles to highlight, as varied as two heart surgeons, a fighter pilot and a former Director of Communications, Asia Pacific for Christian Louboutin.
The Executive MBA is a career-transforming, life-changing learning experience and this year we welcome 127 students to the programme. Our 73 London students join us from 32 countries. This year there is a higher than usual number of students from Asia and the US. The students average 13 years of experience, but some bring 25 years of experience to the programme. Our five entrepreneurs come from varied industries and will be joined by two PhD holders. The student with the furthest commute will be from Zimbabwe, approximately 7,758 miles away.
EMBA Dubai welcomes 54 students this year, with an average of 12 years of experience, and like London there are students with 25 years’ experience. There are over 21 nationalities in the class, of which half are commuting from different parts of the world. There are students from aviation, oil/gas, agriculture and the cosmetics industry.
