London Business School named in Financial Times' Responsible Business Education special report

The School has been included in a special report by the Financial Times looking into corporate responsibility.

The FT's Responsible Business Education special report looks into what business schools are doing to encourage more of a focus on sustainability, ethics and social purpose. LBS was approached to share examples of societal impact activities around research, teaching, student projects and operations.

The publication cited research from LBS’s Ioannis Ioannou which shows that ‘high sustainability’ companies significantly outperformed others through being more long-term oriented, and a green paper from Professor of Economics Alex Edmans on how to make executive pay benefit society.

The report can be accessed with an FT login here.

The results are not a ranking but an attempt to showcase best practices that may inspire students, academics, schools and employers alike to develop fresh initiatives and partnerships.
