LBS Dubai awarded five stars in new higher education league table
LBS Dubai is joint top of a new higher education league table recently unveiled by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai.
The new Higher Education Classification, developed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, provides a rating of one to five stars for 17 branch campuses of international universities across the emirate.
It judges universities on a range of criteria, including their teaching, employability, research, and internationalisation. Other factors taken into consideration include the strength of education programmes, attention to well-being and inclusiveness.
London Business School, the University of Manchester Worldwide and Heriot-Watt University jointly top the table with five stars each.
Oded Koenigsberg, Deputy Dean, Degree Programmes, said, “We are delighted to have received five stars and to share top place in the new league table.”
“Our position reflects the School’s investment in Dubai and a great deal of hard work by the Dubai team and I would like to thank everyone involved. I know we can look forward to more exciting developments in the coming academic year.”
