Double congratulations to our graduating siblings
Part of what makes Congregation so special is that families gather to celebrate the achievements of our students. This was particularly true for Natalie and Ben Bage, pictured above at the chairman's breakfast with their dad. Both of them graduated on Thursday 11 July, Natalie with Executive MBA and Ben with a Masters in Financial Analysis.
Natalie shares their LBS journey:
"I had been interested in doing an Executive MBA for a while and loved the fact that not only was LBS on my doorstep, but it offered me the opportunity to meet like-minded people from across the world and from a wide range of industries. I had been studying at LBS for a few months when Ben spoke to me about wanting to do a Masters after his Undergraduate at Exeter University. I suggested he came to visit LBS and the rest is history!
Graduating on the same day as my little brother has definitely been a highlight! But apart from that, my Global Business Assignment in San Francisco was amazing and building a network of inspirational leaders from across the world who have now become great friends!
Graduation was such a great day. It felt very surreal after two years of trying to juggle a full time demanding job, studying and spending time with family and friends. The garden party was a lovely way to finish off two amazing years at LBS, and it helped that the sun was shining!
Looking to the future, I have just started a new role at Lloyds Banking Group so my focus is doing a brilliant job there. After that, the world is my oyster! I would love to continue to lead large teams and focus on helping people to be their best in the workplace.
From a personal perspective, I am looking forward to taking some time off (I am getting married in three weeks) and spending more time with family and friends on the South Coast of England. I know I won’t be able to stay away from LBS for too long though, so will be back for some Alumni electives soon!"
Huge congratulations to Natalie, Ben and all our graduating students.
