Dean discusses global priority with School Meeting crowd
Thanks to the over 280 LBS staff and faculty members who gathered at the final School Meeting of 2018.
Held at RCOG on 27 November, the theme of the meeting was our School priority to increase our relevance globally. The Dean further explained this priority by saying that we want to attract more business from our priority markets around the world. François shared his insight on the global business impact LBS has currently thanks to faculty research, student Global Experiences, Worldwide Alumni Celebrations and other key events.
On hand to illustrate our global impact was LBS alumnus and Strategy & Entrepreneurship Teaching Fellow Stefano Turconi. Stefano shared information of how his global strategy research has attracted interest from all over the world. For more information on Stefano’s publications please click here.
We also heard from MBA 2019 student Amy Dobbin. Amy shared an overview of her recent Global Business Experience (GBE) in Johannesburg, South Africa. Amy’s presentation reminded us of how important learning outside the classroom can be for LBS students today. Click here to watch a video of a former Johnsonburg GBE similar to Amy’s.
