Campus expansion: North Building now belongs to LBS
A new and important phase in the development of our London campus has now begun and we now have possession of the North Building (formerly the RCOG).
The North Building is set to provide much needed extra space and new facilities for students, participants, alumni and colleagues. It is also at the heart of a project that will transform Sussex Place and provide the School with a new main entrance.
Work on the building will take place in phases, with the first six months focusing on improving and enhancing the building in preparation for use in summer 2020. Roof repairs are already underway and work will start on the internal improvements in January.
Mandy Mather, Director of Estates said:
It's great to finally have the keys and to be able to push ahead with the next phase of work on this project. If you pass the building, you'll notice we've wasted no time and that the scaffolding is already up and our builders are at work!
We will be keeping the School community posted as we prepare the building for opening, so look out for further updates in the new year.
