A LBS family gathering
Last weekend the School hosted Reunion 2017 on campus. The highest ever number of attendees were recorded, with 1328 alumni and guests across the whole weekend.
There were a record number of 110 volunteers from across 32 classes helping out over the three days. 332 donors also raised a total of over £271,000 for the School.
On Friday night, there was a very special evening celebration ‘A Night at the Docks’, held at London’s Tobacco Dock, where classmates got the chance to catch up and network with fellow alumni over a cocktail in this historic venue.
Over the weekend, alumni could choose to attend more than 19 speaker sessions on thought leadership, from both LBS faculty and external speakers. They also had the opportunity to go to ‘Dean’s Question Time’ for a highly engaging and interactive session with Sir Andrew at his last Reunion as Dean.
Alumni and their families ended a wonderful weekend with a celebratory garden party on the front lawn bathed in sunshine.
Jane Charlton, Director, Alumni Relations and Alumni Giving said, “It really was fantastic to see so many alumni back on campus – catching up with their classmates, hearing from faculty and doing plenty of celebrating – thank you so much to all of the staff who supported the weekend.”
